Abby Huntsman left The View with a bang. At the beginning of the week, the conservative co-host declared she had been leaving the conversation show. The news of her departure came after numerous reports maintained she was feuding with Meghan McCain. On her last day on the panel, Huntsman made a move and addressed the rumors.
“People go nuts with rumors about this show and this week is no exception,” Huntsman said throughout her farewell,”I just wish to be clear as possible, this has been a dream come true, this has been an unbelievable job, I really do adore everyone at this table.”
Reports suggested Huntsman and McCain had a fallout over the last month. Another reported maintained the Utah native had raised questions regarding the work environment that was poisonous.
“You guys find out the ups and downs of most our life, Meghan is… you’ve seen what she’s been through in her life… you guys live it with us. It’s not simple everyone to come out here and be open and honest and discuss the toughest issues of the day. I have so much respect for everyone at this table and for everyone at this show,” she added.
Joy Behar quipped saying,”you can always change your mind.”
“I only want to make it as clear as day, with everything that’s been written concerning this location. I’m leaving so thankful for all the new friends I have here, for the friends I had before and still have and for the chance since this place has changed my life for the better,” Huntsman ended.
Whoopi Goldberg’s farewell to Abby Huntsman
“I needed to make sure I must do a little toast for you at our table,” Goldberg said with champagne in hand. “I want to inform you it’s been an honor and a pleasure sitting alongside you and whatever you’re doing , traveling, cope with the kids –I can’t wait to see the children when they are a bit old — and looking out for your dad… It is definitely going to be real interesting and we are going to be watching. We’ll keep our eye out on you”
“Thank you for being my guardian angel here, you’ve been,” Huntsman responded.
Why did Abby Huntsman quit?
Huntsman dropped the bombshell on Monday’s show announcing to the viewers that she was stepping down.
Huntsman is really close with her loved ones and jumped on the notion of assisting her father’s political efforts.
“Family has always been my number one priority, and that is where I need to be concentrated at this moment,” she informed People in a statement. “We’re very close and so are there to support and help each other as it matters. It is not often there’s a political campaign that entails someone you love and believe in, but this is one of them.”
