Cardi B is imagining life as a politician.
While Cardi’s loyal fans couldn’t be happier she’s broadening her horizons, others are now slamming the rapper for attempting to become a part of a federal legislative body they believe she understands nothing about.
Cardi B’s interest in politics was sparked by “war documentaries”
Cardi B may be adding Congresswoman for her lengthy list of achievements in the approaching future.
The Invasion of Privacy rapper was showing a great deal of interest in politics lately. When many fans have applauded her openness surrounding issues many were surprised to understand that Cardi’s actually looking to get into the political ring.
“I believe I wish to be a politician,” she wrote in one tweet. “I really adore government tho I do not agree with Goverment.”
Cardi went on to show her interest in public events sparked while”watching war documentaries.”
“Just like I had been viewing War documentaries,” she shared. “No matter how many weapons a nation have you need people! Are you currently trying to go against a nation when this country lacks patriotism, and possibly begin a war? I hardly see folks claiming they LOVE being American.”
After getting mixed reviews from her fans, Cardi shared that she had been going to explain her decision a bit more clearly with another platform seeing as though Twitter was not performing her explanations justice.
“that I will have to explain a good deal so I am going to need to perform a video or a live talking about it,” she wrote. “So imma come back to my last two tweets another day.Imma talk about it another day.”
“I really do feel like if I go back to school and focus up I can be part of Congress,” she explained. “I deadahave sooo much thoughts that make sense.I just need a couple of years of college and I can shake the table.”
Many aren’t onboard with Cardi’s political aspirations
“I went to college for both American History and Political Science, even though to be honest…my kitty is more capable to run for Congress than Cardi B,” enthusiastic Trump supporter and reality star Mindy Robinson tweeted.
“No, CardiB should not waste her time at a run for Congress,” someone else voiced . “Most people wouldn’t take her seriously; I certainly do not. Anyone who can’t communicate effectively and intelligently doesn’t deserve my vote. And I believe this.”
Some folks even brought up the fact that the rapper was recently indicted on felony charges, which they consider disqualifies her from running for Congress.
“Wants to maintain congress but nevertheless is in court gang related fees @iamcardib,” someone else tweeted. “Did horrible acts like drugging and robbing and I guess its okay to be in congress.”
“Cardi B already overcome the odds by going from a bad stripper into a multi-millionaire and one of the top girls in music now,” one enthusiast shared. “Who is anyone to tell her she can’t run for Congress?
Cardi has been political on social websites
Though Cardi B’s legal ambitions aren’t being adopted by the masses, her interest in politics is not entirely unexpected.
In August, she partnered with Senator Bernie Sanders–who she endorsed back in 2016–to talk, comprehensive, about his 2020 campaign.
While people continue to stand by their view that Cardi B is unqualified for Congress, it seems to others that she certainly has what it takes to”shake the table” with a political conduct.
