Blac Chyna included the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services to investigate Rob Kardashian following their daughter, Fantasy Kardashian, endured numerous”acute” burns while in his care.
Fantasy, 3, allegedly received a high-value burn on her leg at the end of February, which motivated 31-year old Chyna to find medical care for her daughter.
“Rob admitted that Dream had obtained the severe burn at his residence also promised it would never happen again,” Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, explained in a statement on Page Six. “Chyna immediately sought out and obtained appropriate medical treatment for Dream’s burn.”
“… Chyna was shocked and incredibly upset to discover that Dream had suffered a 2nd severe burn very near the first burn on her leg,” the announcement continued. “When Chyna achieved to Rob to find out what had happened to their daughter, Rob originally lied to Chyna and refused that Fantasy’s second burn happened at his property.”
Based on Chyna’s lawyer, 33-year-old Rob had his then-nanny text Chyna and admit that Dream had obtained the second burn from a lightbulb.
“Chyna sought medical attention for Fantasy and learned that the most recent burn on her leg was a second-degree burnoff,” the announcement read, imagining it was at that point that Chyna contacted DCFS and the authorities”to request an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Dream’s second-degree burn.”
The nanny in question because has been removed from her position in Rob’s home.
“While that development is a great start, Chyna will do everything in her power to guarantee Fantasy’s security during her visitations with her father,” continued Ciani’s statement, noting Chyna will finally have to reevaluate the new nanny Rob hires.
“Chyna still needs her daughter to be allowed visitations with her father. But she also of course wants to make sure that Dream is never burned again (or hurt by other neglectful conduct) while seeing her father,” the announcement concluded.
In a follow-up announcement, Ciani added,”it’s very important for the American people to understand that our brave law enforcement and DCFS employees are still working to safeguard kids during the coronavirus pandemic.”
In reaction, Rob’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told Page Six that”the health, safety and well-being of Dream is and has always been Rob’s top priority” and clarified the former E! star’s present nanny of the last two years is leaving her job”at-will” because of her high-risk pregnancy and admitted that”unfortunately Dream has had two accidents in the previous month while using this grandma.”
“Rob treated Dream suitably and Chyna was advised. Following an investigation by the DCFS and the authorities in which Rob fully cried, he has every reason to feel that there will be no findings of any security issues in his home,” Singer’s statement continued, noting that”third parties” have called on DCFS to see the Lashed salon owner’s house over Dream.
“… Within the last month, Fantasy has arrived at Rob from Chyna with many unexplained injuries including wounds, cuts, bruises and a dislocated arm,” the statement continued. “Just last Saturday while Chyna was claiming that she had been so concerned about Fantasy’s security, Chyna posted a video on Instagram depicting 3-year-old Dream on her 7-year-old brother’s rear while he was jumping on a trampoline”
Rob, by his attorney, chastised Chyna for wasting”valuable public funds” by calling responders to his home in a”desperate attempt to decode Rob’s name” in their legal battle.
“In his ongoing lawsuit for complete custody of Dream, Rob has had grave concerns about his daughter’s safety in Chyna’s maintenance, and is grateful for the brave witnesses that have come forward to testify regarding the threat [with] that Chyna presents their daughter in her house,” the statement read.
Rob and Chyna were set to appear in court March 24, but the date has been postponed due to COVID-19.
“He eagerly awaits the opportunity to present the available evidence at the earliest opportunity,” the announcement concluded, noting that neither parties have visitation: They’ve shared joint physical and legal custody of Fantasy since 2017.
This is the latest in Rob and Chyna’s heated custody battle. In late February, a judge blocked an emergency motion in Rob that would allow Chyna to see Dream just during weekend visits with a monitor present. He claimed his ex’s alleged drug use made her a threat.
